From today, the Navadurga Naach will be performed in the Madhyapurthimi city. Balkumari, Layaku, Dathutol, Marutol, Vamune, Tacho, Tachutol, Povu, Chapacho, Nagdesh, Bode, and other locations will host the dance for eight days. The Navadurga Naach , which had been performed in Madhyapur-Thimi for two decades, was shut down for 11 years due to security concerns, but was reopened in 2075 BS once elected representatives arrived.
“The municipality has dedicated funds to preserve the arts, culture, and cultural festivals of Madhyapur-Thimi,” stated Shrestha, the municipality’s chief.
