With the advent of Dashain on Thursday, the Navaratri festival in Bhaktapur began. Since the morning of the First day, a large fair has been conducted in Bramhayani. The Nine–Night carnival, which kicks off with Dashain’s Ghatsthapana, is held at 9 Shakti Peeths around the city.

The locals refer to the fair as Navaraat, or Nine-Night fete, because it takes place at night. It’s not that the fete isn’t held in the morning; it’s just that thousands of enthusiasts from all over the country attend the nighttime fair rather than the morning fair. Fetes are held twice a day, in the morning and evening, in nine different Shakti Peeths throughout the nine days of Navaratri fete. As a result, a fair is organized at Bramhayani in Bhaktapur on the First day. The fair is held here on the last day as well.

Bramhayani is the First day, Maheshwari is the Second, Kumari(Kaumari) is the Third, Bhadrakali is the fourth, Barahi is the Fifth, Indrayani is the Sixth, Mahakali is the Seventh, Mahalakshmi is the Eighth, Tripurasundari is the ninth, and at Bramhayani and Taleju is the last on the day of  Vijaya Dashami. Thousands of worshippers travel to Bramhayani from Bhaktapur, Madhyapur-Thimi, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Kavrepalanchok, and other regions. On the Tenth day, an unique fair is hosted at the Taleju Temple at Bhaktapur Durbar Square in the morning and evening.

The Navaratri fete attracts people of all ages, from youngsters to the elderly. Even young individuals, though, prefer it. Young people have a tradition of flirting with each other at this time. Aside from that, Bhaktapur Dashain features a number of unique attractions. Khamye Jatra (Rango Daudaune Jatra), Kuchhi Bhavya (a unique feast to be consumed by measuring two manas of Chiura), Pyonhayakegu (runaway marriage), and other special attractions are available. Aside from that, on the 10th day of Dashain, several festivals and processions are organized across Bhaktapur city.

Every day, there is a procession to Shakti Peeth. On the day of Vijaya Dashami, he said, the sword is honored in Taleju. Payonhayakegu is the Newari name for it. Couples who are in love flee away and marry on this day. As a result, today’s marriage is legally recognized. It is common to undertake auspicious deeds on this day, such as betrothal, betrothal, and so on. This day is seen to be auspicious. It is common to marry unmarried couples on this day.
